Noorani Qaida (Absolute Beginners)
Arabic letters, sounds, joining, harakat, sukoon and Madd taught from zero. Ideal for children aged 4+ and for adults who have never read Arabic script before.
Live one-to-one Quran lessons for kids and adults — Noorani Qaida, Tajweed, fluent Nazira recitation and Hifz. Female Quran teachers available. Your first class is free.
Finding a reliable Quran teacher is one of the hardest things for Muslim families living away from a masjid or a madrasa. Weekend classes are crowded, travel eats up the evening, and children who fall behind rarely get individual correction. Afla Guide was born from exactly this problem — our very first students learned Quran and Arabic in a small circle, and that circle has since grown into a global online tuition family serving parents in the UK, the Gulf, Europe, Australia and Sri Lanka.
Every Quran class we run is one-to-one and live. That matters more in Quran than in almost any other subject, because recitation is corrected by ear. A tutor cannot hear a mispronounced ḍād or a shortened Madd in a group of fifteen children — but they hear it instantly when the student is the only voice in the room. That single difference is why students who switch from group classes to 1-to-1 usually see their reading accuracy improve within weeks.
Whether you are a parent searching for online Quran classes for kids, a sister looking for a female Quran teacher, a revert learning Arabic letters from scratch, or a working adult who wants to finally read the Mushaf fluently — there is a track here built for that exact starting point.

Quran Tracks
Six structured tracks. Your tutor starts you on the right one after the free trial assessment — and moves you up when you are genuinely ready, not on a fixed calendar.
Arabic letters, sounds, joining, harakat, sukoon and Madd taught from zero. Ideal for children aged 4+ and for adults who have never read Arabic script before.
Makharij, Sifaat, Noon and Meem Sakinah, Qalqalah, Madd lengths and stopping rules — corrected live, letter by letter, while you recite.
Read directly from the Mushaf with correct rhythm and confidence. Weekly surah goals, fluency drills and recitation review with your tutor.
Structured Sabaq, Sabqi and Manzil routine sized around school workload, with revision tracking so memorised portions actually stay memorised.
Duas, Salah, Aqeedah basics, Seerah and daily adhkar taught in age-appropriate language — practical, gentle and never rushed.
Understand the words you recite. Vocabulary, grammar basics and Quranic Arabic reading for students who want meaning, not just sound.

The Afla Advantage
Every minute of the class belongs to one student. Recitation is heard, corrected and repeated until it is right — the way Quran has always been taught.
Our Quran teachers are trained in Tajweed and used to working with young children, hesitant beginners and advanced Hifz students alike. Patience is not optional in this subject; it is the method.
Afla Guide runs as a non-profit tuition service. Fees stay low, and families in genuine financial difficulty can ask about concession rates without awkwardness.
Written feedback after each class, monthly recitation reviews, and honest reporting when a student needs more practice. You will never be told everything is fine when it is not.
Most of our Quran tutors are qualified female teachers. Request a female tutor when you message us and we will match accordingly before the trial is scheduled.
You meet the tutor, watch the teaching, and decide afterwards. No card details, no pressure, no auto-renewal.

The Process
Four simple steps. Your first class is free — meet your tutor in under 48 hours.
Message us on WhatsApp with the student's age, current reading level and preferred class times. Mention if you need a female Quran teacher.
A qualified tutor runs a real 1-to-1 session, assesses recitation, and shows exactly which track — Qaida, Tajweed, Nazira or Hifz — fits best.
Choose 2, 3 or 5 classes a week at times that suit your timezone. UK, Gulf, Europe, Australia and Sri Lanka slots are all covered.
Short written feedback after each class, monthly recitation reviews and clear milestones so parents always know where the student stands.
From kids to adults, Afla Guide connects every learner with dedicated tutors across almost every subject. We don't just teach — we build confidence, spark curiosity, and guide every student toward real progress.

Every class is one-to-one and live. Your tutor joins you on Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video at a time you choose, shares the Mushaf or worksheet on screen, listens to your recitation, corrects your pronunciation in real time, and sends a short progress note after the session.
Children can begin Qaida (Noorani Qaida / Alif Baa Taa) from around four or five years old, as soon as they can sit for a focused 20–30 minute session. Teenagers and adults usually start with a short assessment so the tutor knows whether to begin from Qaida, Nazira, Tajweed, or Hifz.
Yes. Most of our Quran tutors are qualified female teachers, and we regularly match sisters and young girls with a female tutor on request. Families who prefer a male tutor for their sons can also request one.
Absolutely. A large share of our adult students start from zero — they cannot recognise a single Arabic letter on day one. The Qaida track teaches letter shapes, sounds, joining, harakat, and Madd step by step.
Fees depend on the number of classes per week and the tutor level of qualification. Afla Guide operates as a non-profit tuition service, so pricing is kept deliberately low. The trial class is always free.
Yes. The first session is a free trial with a real tutor, not a sales call. You see the teaching style, the tutor assesses the student current level, and only then do you decide whether to continue.
Tutors teach classical Tajweed rules — Makharij, Sifaat, Noon Sakinah and Tanween, Meem Sakinah, Madd, Qalqalah, and the rules of stopping — using the Hafs an Asim recitation that most families are familiar with.
Yes. Hifz students follow a three-part routine each class: Sabaq (new portion), Sabqi (recent revision), and Manzil (older revision). The daily portion is sized around the student school workload.
